Donna J Oihus

Donna J. Oihus, age 84 of Grafton, ND passed away on Thursday, December 10, 2015 at the Lutheran Sunset home of Grafton.   Donna Jean Flory was born September 24, 1931 in Staples, MN the daughter of the late Leland and Lorraine P. (Hassler) Flory. She grew up and attended school in Staples, graduating from Staples High School. Donna worked as a telephone operator in Staples and Minneapolis, MN. She later returned to Staples and was united in marriage to Warren Hodge. The couple made their home in Staples where Donna worked as a receptionist for Twin City Optical Lab. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church and Altar Society. She was active on the funeral committee. Donna married Robert Oihus Sr. on April 29, 2000 in Grafton, ND. The couple made their home in Grafton. She was a member of the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church and Altar Society.   Donna is survived by her husband Robert Oihus, Grafton, ND; children: Mary Kay (Gary) Anderson, Brainerd, MN; Jodi Phiefer, Motley, MN; Jeanne Hodge, Minneapolis, MN; step-children: Robert (Julie) Oihus Jr., Grafton, ND; Dawn (George) Wosick, Warsaw, ND; Ann (Doug) McCann, Grafton, ND; Jodi (Larry) Stockert, Audubon, MN; Janice Oihus, Beulah, ND; 10 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and siblings: Mary Lee, Rosemount, MN; Pat Collison, Mahnomen, MN and Jon (Barb) Flory, Minneapolis, MN. Donna was preceded in death by her parents, two infant children, daughter Becky, her first husband Warren and brother, Richard.   Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, December 17, 2015 at 1:00 PM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Staples, MN. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5-7 with a prayer service at 5:15 PM at the Tollefson Funeral home of Grafton. Friends may also call at the church on Thursday for one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at the Evergreen Hill Cemetery, Staples, MN.
