Donna Cicha

Donna L. Cicha, age 89 of Grafton, ND passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2022 at the Lutheran Sunset Home of Grafton.

Donna Nelson was born August 9, 1933 in Park River, ND, the daughter of the late Fred and Christine (Evenson) Nelson.  She grew up and attended schools in Park River.  She was united in marriage to John Duane Lien in Park River and the couple made their home in Washington.  John passed away in 1959 and she returned home to Park River.  She was united in marriage to Emanual Cicha on October 11, 1962 and the couple made their home in Grafton.  She moved into the Lutheran Sunset Home in October of 2018 and Emanuel passed away January 22, 2019.

Donna is survived by her children: Billy (Denise) Lien, Minto, ND, John Lien and Delbert (Jody) Lien, both of Grafton, ND; son-in-law Joe Woinarowicz, AZ; 4 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren with one more on the way; and brother-in-law Sylvester Cicha, WA.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter Donna, and 2 brothers.

Graveside services will be held Friday, July 14 at 2:00 P.M. at the Memorial Park Cemetery of Park River.  A social gathering will follow at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Park River, ND.
