Donald I Windingland

Donald I. Windingland, age 65 of Grafton, ND passed away on Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at his home in Grafton.

Donald I. Windingland was born June 9, 1951 in Grafton ND the son of the late Lawrence and Adeline (Lindell) Windingland. He attended school in Edinburg, ND and NDSU in Fargo, ND. Following his education he worked in Fargo until moving to Grafton in 2010. He worked as a Life Skills Trainer at the Life Skills and Transition Center in Grafton until retiring in 2013.

He was a member of the Grafton Lutheran Church and Choir and the Theta Chi Fraternity. He was an avid NDSU Bison fan and Green Bay Packer fan.

Don is survived by his daughter, Alycia Windingland, Denver, CO; sister, Loretta (Noel) Moe, Grafton, ND; two nieces: Kristen (Blaine) Peterson, Grafton, ND; Kerri (Blue) Lopez, Grafton, ND; nephew, Christopher (Heather) Currans, Ames, IA. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Arden.

Funeral services will be Saturday, August 27, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. at Grafton Lutheran Church. Visitation will be Saturday for one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Garfield Lutheran Cemetery, Edinburg, ND.
