Donald Jensen

Donald Boyd Jensen, age 70 of Park River, ND passed away on Monday, April 25, 2022 at the First Care Health Center of Park River.

Don Jensen was born April 11, 1952 in Grafton, ND.  He was the son Theodore and Agnes (Soukup) Jensen.  He grew up and attended school in Park River.  Following his education, he began farming with his dad and brother.  He was united in marriage to Marie Johnson on June 23, 1989 in Roseau, Minnesota.  The couple made their home in Park River.

Don was a member of the Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church.  He was a quiet man who loved going on afternoon drives with his twin brother Dale to check on crop conditions. He also enjoyed his Sunday cruises with his wife of 25 years.  Don had a passion for wood working, tinkering with farm equipment and he always had one of his dogs on his lap.

Don is survived by his daughter Tara Doll, Bismarck, ND, step-daughter Yolanda (Mike) Syrup, Park River and step-sons: Paul Munoz, Grand Forks, ND, Robert (Cecilia) Munoz, Houston, TX and Gary Munoz, Hoople, ND.  He is also survived by his daughter-in-law Laura Munoz, 18 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and a half-brother Robert Haselmo.  He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Marie, brother Dale, step-son Kyle Munoz, and half-brother Gladwin (Bear) Jensen.

A memorial service will be Friday, April 29, 2022 at 2:30 PM at the Tollefson Funeral Home of Park River. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  Inurnment will be at the Memorial Park Cemetery of Park River.
