Diane C. Nord

Diane C. Nord, age 70 of Grafton, ND, passed away on Saturday, December 6, 2025 at Essentia Health of Fargo, ND.

Diane Nord was born January 28, 1955 in Grafton, ND, the daughter of the late Raymond Nord and Arliss (Sandvig) Nord. She grew up in Grafton and graduated as salutatorian from Grafton High School. Her strong work ethic and kindness touched many during her years with Associated Potato, the Life Skills and Transition Center, Motorcoach in Pembina, and numerous area farmers, where she built lasting relationships before retiring.

She enjoyed gardening, building computers, programming, reading the Bible, and spending time with family. Throughout her life she was a charitable person, generously providing funds to a variety of charities and causes close to her heart.

She is survived by her siblings: Bonnie (Randy) Shema, Shirley Churchill, Sandra (Jeff) Almen, and Mary Nord; her children: Melinda Nord and Kenneth Nord; her grandchildren: Kelsey (Mario) Solis, Josh (Kirsten) Welsh, Craig (Maribel) Welsh, Andrea Welsh, and Casey Welsh; and her great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Thursday, December 11, 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Tollefson Funeral Home of Grafton. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at the St. John’s Catholic Cemetery of Grafton in the spring.
