Deloris M. Porter

Deloris M. Porter, age 73 of Park River, North Dakota passed away Saturday, December 31, 2022 at the First Care Health Center of Park River.

Deloris M. Odden was born May 25, 1949 in Grafton, North Dakota, the daughter of the late Morris Odden and Doreen (Dauphinais) Mager.  She attended and graduated from Edinburg High School.  She managed Homme Dam and the Park River American Legion.  She worked for the Life Skills and Transition Center for 30 years until her health forced her to retire.  Deloris was united in marriage to Glen Porter on May 6, 1992 in Grafton, North Dakota.  The couple made their home in Park River.

She was a member of the Park River Federated Church.  She loved spending time with her family and friends, Bible study, playing cards and Bingo, travelling, camping, fishing, reading and loved animals.

Deloris is survived by her husband, Glen Porter, Park River, ND; children:  Shane (Jody) Gravelin, Park River, ND; Carla (Jeff) Wilmer, Drayton, ND; grandchildren:  Dylan and Dustyn Gravelin and Mason and Julian Wilmer; brother:  Paul (Laurie) Odden, Michigan, ND.  Several nieces and nephews also survive.  She was preceded in death by her parents.

Graveside services will be Monday, July 3, 2023 at 3:30 P.M. at the Memorial Park Cemetery, Park River, North Dakota
