Deloris E. Kruger

DeLoris E. Kruger, age 87 of Grafton, ND and formerly of Oriska, North Dakota passed away on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at the Lutheran Sunset Home of Grafton, ND. DeLoris E. Thilmony was born September 30, 1926 in Fingal, North Dakota the daughter of the late Charles and Magedelena (Puhr) Thilmony. She attended Wegner School Dist #1 and Oriska School. Following her education DeLoris was united in marriage to Wallace Kruger on May 11, 1948 at St. Bernard's Catholic Church of Oriska. The couple made their home in Fingal until 1951 when they moved to Oriska. DeLoris worked at the Land of Lakes Turkey Processing Plant in Valley City and later worked at Archies' Wholesale Hardware and Fleet Wholesale in Valley City. Wallace passed away in 2000 and in 2003 DeLoris moved to Grafton, ND. In the fall of 2008 she moved to the Lutheran Sunset Home. DeLoris was a member of St. Bernard's Catholic Church and Altar Society of Oriska and she served as a Den Mother for the Oriska Cub Scouts when her children were in scouting. DeLoris is survived by her children: Richard (Helen) Thilmony, St. Maries, ID; DaWayne (Pat) Kruger, Oriska, ND; Ronald (Cis) Kruger, Firth, ID; Lori (Curtis) Rogalla, Veseleyville, ND; nine grandchildren, three step grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, seven step great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, three step great great grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters; Helen and Lucille and two brothers: Robert and Edward. Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, April 14, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Bernard's Catholic Church of Oriska. Visitation will be Monday for one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be at the Church Cemetery.
