Delores M. Basher

Delores M. Basher, age 81 of Grafton, ND passed away on Monday, May 14, 2012 at the Lutheran Sunset Home of Grafton. Delores Marion Erbstoesser was born on April 17, 1931 in Chaffee, ND, the daughter of the late Fredrick and Mabel (Hahn) Erbstoesser. She grew up on the family farm. On July 12, 1952 she was united in marriage to Kenneth D. Basher in Fargo, ND at the American Lutheran Church. The couple moved to Grafton in February of 1966 with their seven children. She ran a daycare out of their home for 30 years before retiring Her favorite pastimes were baking, cooking and playing Bingo. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren more than anything. She was a member of the Grafton Lutheran Church and the Eagle's Women Auxiliary. Delores is survived by her husband Kenneth D. Basher, Sr., Grafton, ND; her children: Danny (Karen) Basher, Baudette, MN; Cheryl (William) Green, Grafton, ND; Karen (John) Kramer, Bay City, MI; Kevin Basher, Grafton, ND; Mechelle (Andy) Komanetz, Grafton; Melanie (John) Meints, Paw Paw, MI; sixteen grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren; brother: Jack (JoAnn) Erbstoesser, Fargo, ND; sisters: Dorothy Miller, Moorhead, MN and Darlene (Herman) Peterson, Horace, ND. Several nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents, son Kenneth M. Basher, Jr., grandson Michael J. "Klicker" Basher, three infant grandsons and several brothers and a sister. Funeral services will be Friday, May 18, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at the Grafton Lutheran Church of Grafton, ND. Friends may call at the church on Friday for one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at the Grafton Lutheran Cemetery, Grafton, ND.
