Debra L. Pfannsmith

Debra L. Pfannsmith, age 64 of Fordville, North Dakota passed away Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at her home in Fordville.

Debra L. Senf was born June 12, 1957 at St. Ansgar’s Hospital, Moorhead, MN, the daughter of Leon and Carmen (Hoff) Senf.  She graduated from Fordville High School in 1975.  Debra was united in marriage in 1975 to Dale Sluke.  The couple lived in Wahpeton and after several years in the Fargo area, they moved to Fordville.  Debra was united in marriage to Clyde Pfannsmith on July 14, 1990 in Fordville, ND.  The couple made their home in Fordville.  Clyde passed away on January 31, 2014.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.  Debra liked to be the life of the party and could strike up a conversation with anyone.  She loved cooking, fishing, hunting and spending time at the lake.

Debra is survived by her parents, Leon and Carmen Senf, Fargo, ND; children:  Deanne Sluke, West Fargo, ND; Dustin Sluke, Fordville, ND; granddaughter, Jolynn Trieglaff, West Fargo, ND; step-children:  Kristy (Eric) Pfannsmith-Knapp, Elgin, SC; Bonnie Freije, Edmore, ND; Joanie (Will) Rossow, Flasher, ND; step-grandchildren:  Ashtin, Fallyn, Morgan, Sabrina and Abagale; siblings:  Jackie Senf, West Fargo, ND; Gwen (Dennis) Zelfer, Scenic, SD;  Kyle Senf, Fargo, ND.  Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde and grandparents:  William and Hattie Hoff and Otto and Gladys Senf.

Per Debra’s wishes, no funeral services will be held.  Graveside services will be Monday, November 15, 2021 at 2:30 P.M. at the Oak Grove Cemetery, Fordville, ND.  Everyone is invited for a time of lunch and fellowship following the graveside service at the Fordville American Legion.
