Deanna L. Rasmusson

Deanna L. Rasmusson, age 60 of Park River, ND and formerly Grafton, ND, passed away November 25, 2020 at Altru Hospital of Grand Forks.

Deanna L. Abeyta was born August 23, 1960 to the late Herbert and Susan (Redhawk) Abeyta on the Pine Ridge Reservation, SD.  She was raised and attended school in Casper, WY.  She met Richard Rasmusson and they united in marriage on December 5, 1978 in Casper. They moved to Fort Ransom, ND to be closer to family.  Deanna and Richard moved to Grafton and raised their three children: Michael, Ricky, and Kelly.

Deanna worked for many years at the Super 8 Motel in Grafton and for Campbell Farms for 11 years.  She was a long time member of Fort Ransom Standing Rock Lutheran Church.  Deanna and Richard loved to spend their free time fishing and camping and gathering with her children and grandchildren.

Deanna is survived by her husband Richard; children: Michael (Brittany) Rasmusson, Ricky Rasmusson, and Kelly Rasmusson; and nine grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.

A private family service will take place in the Spring 2021.
