Deanna Rose Azure

On May 29, 2026 at 7:47 am in Fargo, North Dakota, our beautiful Deanna Rose St. Claire-Azure, a member of the Crow Tribe was chosen by Our Creator to live in His Holy Kingdom. She is “Greasy Mouth” and a child of the Big Lodge Clan.

Deanna was born to Dale J. St. Claire, Sr. and Tina M. LaHaye on March 14, 1983 in Crow Agency, Montana. She was the second child of four siblings. Deanna grew up in Minot and Grafton, ND where she attended various schools. Her contagious smile attracted a lot of friends and family. She loved the outdoors and had a green thumb. Deanna had a unique style with her make up, hair and wardrobe. She was a fabulous cook as well as a very caring and lovable person. She enjoyed singing her favorite country and R & B music. She was a hard worker of various jobs and she was the “Jill” of all trades.

Deanna is preceded in death by her grandparents Theresa St. Claire; Patrick and Leona Walks-Phares; step-father Lonnie D. Stewart, Sr; little brother Dale J. St. Claire, Jr. (D.J.); and many relatives.

Deanna leaves behind her 3 children: Hannah Rose, Chico Domingo, and Little Johnny; her parents Dale J. St. Claire, Sr. and Tina M. LaHaye-Stewart; siblings: Curtis, Ashley and Lisa St. Claire and Salena Big Man.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, June 6, 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church of Grafton, ND. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be at the Fairview Cemetery in Hardin, MT.

The family would like to thank the Tollefson Funeral Home of Grafton, ND and the Bullis Mortuary of Hardin, MT for their services.
