David O Pitcher

David Orland Pitcher (Bugzy), age 61 of Park River, ND passed away at Essentia Healthcare in Fargo, ND on Sunday, April 23, 2023.

David was born October 11, 1961 in Park River to the late Stanley and Veronica (Denault) Pitcher. David worked on the oil rigs with his brother Duayne in Western North Dakota and as a carpenter for Larry Flaten Construction.

He enjoyed the outdoors, camping, country cruising and target shooting. He was a quiet and gentle man who will be missed by his family and friends.

David is survived by his siblings: Eileen (Dick) Halvorson, Eldon Pitcher, Donald Pitcher, Lori Russell, sister-in-law Kathy Pitcher and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Marvin and Duayne, sister Vivian Herzog, sister-in-law Diane Pitcher and brother-in-law Hunter Russell.

Funeral services will be Friday, April 28, 2023 at 11:00 AM at the Tollefson Funeral Home of Park River. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be at the Calvary Cemetery of Park River.
