Danny L Leedahl

Danny L. Leedahl, age 61 of Grafton, passed away on Sunday, December 01, 2013 in Grafton. Danny L. Leedahl was born February 29, 1952 in Grafton, ND the son of the late Marvin and Thelma (Tandsather) Leedahl. He grew up and attended school in Grafton. Following his education he served in the United States Army from 1974-1976, stationed in Germany. He returned to Grafton in 1976 and worked at various jobs in the area. Danny was united in marriage to Cindy Langowski on Aug. 7, 1987 at St. John's Catholic Church in Grafton. She passed away on May 27, 2003. Danny was an active member of the River of Life Community Church. He was a member of AA, NA and Al-non. Dan enjoyed attending meetings and helping others that are facing similar experiences. He enjoyed fishing and playing softball and spending time with his kids. Danny is survived by his children: Travis, Fargo, ND and Trisha, Grafton, ND, his sisters: Linda (Gary) Babinski, Minto, ND and Bonnie (Rick) Knudsvig, Buxton, ND; his father-in-law, Stanley Langowski, Grafton, ND. sister-in-law, Linda (Greg) Everson, Denver, CO, sister-in-law, Glenna Leedahl, Grand Forks, ND and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, brothers: Terry and Jack and mother-in-law, Doris Langowski. Funeral services will be Thursday, December 5, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at the River of Life Community Church. Visitation will be Thursday for one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be at St. John's catholic cemetery in the spring. Military rites will be provided by the Grafton American Legion Post #41 and the North Dakota National Guard Honor Guard.
