Daniel J. Lipsh

Daniel J. Lipsh, age 74 of Fordville, ND passed away Friday, May 20, 2011 at his home in Fordville. Daniel John Lipsh was born January 3, 1937 in Pisek, ND the son of the late John and Antoinette (Tuma) Lipsh. Daniel worked for the Park River Cenex for 26 years until his retirement in 2001. He was married to Diane Mandt for 34 years raising their three children and their Morgan horses. He was a member of the Our Saviour's Lutheran Church and the Park River American Legion. He is Survived by his three children: David Lipsh, Pisek, ND; Brian (Elizabeth) Lipsh, Grand Forks, ND and Barbara (Michael) Manuk, Grafton, OH; five grandchildren and one great grandson: Chase, Thomas, Brooke and Alyssa Lipsh and Nicholas and Michele Manuk; siblings: Betty McMillan, Fordville, ND; Mayme Jarus, Pembina, ND; Ronald Lipsh, Luxemburg, WI; Donald Lipsh, Fargo, ND. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers: John W. and Leonard; sister Anne. Memorial services will be Thursday, May 26, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. at the Our Saviour's Lutheran Church, Park River, ND. Friends may call at the church on Thursday for one hour prior to the service. Inurnment will be at St. Luke's Catholic Cemetery, Veseleyville, ND.
