Lloyd Dale Anderson, age 85 of Hoople, ND passed away on Saturday, December 27, 2008 at the Borg Pioneer Memorial Home of Mountain, ND. Lloyd Dale Anderson was born December 23, 1923 in Hoople, ND the son of the late Wilford and Isabelle (Nicholson) Anderson. He grew up and attended schools in Hoople. Following his education he worked as farm labor for Fagerholt Farms and Midgarden Potato Company, retiring at the age of 75 years.
He moved to the Borg Pioneer Memorial Home in Mountain in October 2008.
Dale is survived by his sister Marie Hartman of Pittsburg, PA and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother George "Bud" Anderson and sisters: Dorothy Denne and Beth Tharalson.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, December 30, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. at the Tollefson Funeral Home, Grafton, ND. Visitation will be Tuesday for one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at the Hoople City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer memorials to the Hoople Cemetery Fund or the Hoople Swimming Pool.
