Curtis A. Uggerud

Curtis A. Uggerud, age 62 of Grafton, ND passed away Monday, April 1, 2019 at Altru Hospital of Grand Forks.

Curtis was born July 12, 1956 in Grafton, ND, the son of the late Elmo and Anna (Thune) Uggerud. He attended and graduated from Grafton Public Schools. After high school, Curtis began farming. Curtis loved to farm. He was a member of the American Crystal Sugar Co-op, served on the Martin Township Board, and was a member of Grafton Lutheran Church.

After retiring in 1998, he could be found tinkering at the farm where he grew up. Curtis enjoyed fishing, helping other farmers during harvest, and taking his ATV’s out for a ride in the country.

Curtis is survived by his brother: Tim (Diana) Uggerud, Alexandria, MN and sister: Eunice (Andrew) Gozdal, Drayton, ND; nieces and nephews: Jared and Jacob Uggerud, Matt Bellmore, Tracy Uggerud, Amy (John) McKenzie, Todd (Meredith) Gozdal, and Andrea Gozdal. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Rodney.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2019 at 3:00 P.M. at the Tollefson Funeral Home of Grafton. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Inurnment will be at Grafton Lutheran Cemetery in the spring.
