Connie L. Langley

Connie L. Langley, age 70 of Park River, ND, passed away Saturday, November 2, 2024 at the First Care Health Center of Park River.

Connie L. Aabrekke was born April 10, 1954 in Minnewaukan, North Dakota, the daughter of the late Carl and Lillie (Swenson) Aabrekke.  She attended school in Minnewaukan.  Connie was united in marriage to Thomas Langley on June 12, 1989 in Grafton, North Dakota.  The couple made their home in Park River where they raised their children.  She worked as a CNA at Park River Good Samaritan Center, Life Skills and Transition Center and the Lutheran Sunset Home in Grafton.

She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren and playing Bingo.

Connie is survived by her husband Thomas Langley, Park River, ND; children:  Kayla (Aaron) Splawn, Burleson, TX and Michael (Meghan) Langley, East Bethel, MN; grandchildren:  Scarlett Langley, Coralie Langley, Vaeda Langley and Leland Langley; siblings:  Elmer Aabrekke, Milnor, ND; Ivan (Bonnie) Aabrekke, Minnewaukan, ND; Shirley (Dennis) Olson, Edinburg, ND; Diane Carlson, Park River, ND; Linda Henning, Evansville, IN; Sandra Cudmore, Grafton, ND. Several nieces and nephews also survive.  She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Carl, Jr.; sisters: Lois Johnson and Kathy Lundgren; four brothers-in-law and one sister-in-law.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, November 30, 2024 at 10:30 A.M. at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Park River, ND.  Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the church.  Inurnment will be at the Calvary Cemetery, Park River.
