Clara E. Iverson

Clara E. Iverson, age 99 of Park River, passed away on Monday, September 03, 2012 at the Park River Good Samaritan Center. Clara E. Iverson was born June 10, 1913 in Rural Adams, ND, the daughter of the late George and Elina Larson. Her mom passed away when she was 2, after which she began living with Ingel and Anna (Larson) Iverson. The couple adopted Clara when she was 6. She grew up in the Adams area and attended the Norton Township schools. Following her education, she was a homemaker on the family's farm. She moved into Park River in the fall of 1993, and later moved into the Good Samaritan Center in the fall of 2001. She was a member of the Hoff Lutheran Church and WELCA of Rural Adams. She is survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Lawrence. Funeral services will be Thursday, September 6, 2012 at 10:30 A.M. at the Hoff Lutheran Church of Rural Adams. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at the Hoff Lutheran Cemetery.
