Christopher Allen Myhre

Christopher Allen Myhre, age 15 of Hoople, ND passed away on Sunday, April 18, 2010 from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident near Hoople. Christopher Allen Myhre was born July 9, 1994 in Berlin, Germany the son of Ross and Michelle (Walkinshaw) Myhre. He attended the Lydia Hawk Elementary School in Lacey, WA. He attended public schools in Crystal, ND; Cavalier, ND and he was currently a sophomore at the St. Thomas High School. Chris had always wanted to serve in the United States Military and all his friends had nicknamed him "Sarge". Chris is survived by his parents, Michelle Myhre, Hoople, ND; Ross Myhre, Park River, ND; his siblings, Richard (Chelsey) Myhre, Hoople, ND; Amy (Jared) Faller, Hoople, ND; Johnathan Myhre, Hoople, ND; his paternal grandfather Roy Myhre, Park River, ND; maternal grandparents, Robert Walkinshaw & Jane Amundson, Arboles, CO; several aunts, uncles, cousins and nieces and nephews also survive. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother Juanita Myhre, his uncle Steve Myhre and maternal grandmother Barbara Flake. Funeral services will be Thursday, April 22, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. at the Victory Free Lutheran Church of Park River. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5-7 PM with a prayer service at 7:00 PM at the Church in Park River. Friends may also call at the church on Thursday for one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at the Park Center Lutheran Cemetery near Hoople.
