Chris D Vogsland

Chris D. Vogsland, age 60 of Grafton, ND passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at his home in Grafton.

Chris Dennis Vogsland was born April 13, 1960 in Grafton, ND the son of the late Dennis and Ella Mae (Poeppel) Vogsland. He graduated from Grafton High School in 1978 and attended the North Dakota State School of Science in Wahpeton, ND. He farmed with his brother Brett for a time before moving to California where he worked for Old English Staircases as a rail master. Chris returned to Grafton in the early 1990’s and worked for Roberton Construction in Grand Forks. He later went out on his own as an independent contractor.

Chris enjoyed golfing and spending time with his sons.

Chris is survived by his sons: Joshua Vogsland, Fargo, ND; Matthew Rodriguez, Grand Forks, ND; special friend: Virginia Rodriguez, Grafton, ND; his siblings: Robin (Brenda) Vogsland, Rio Rancho, NM; Scott (DeeDee) Vogsland, Grafton, ND; Jeffrey (Tammy) Vogsland, Santa Ynez, CA, Brett Vogsland, Grafton, ND; Jennifer (Randy) Napier, Grafton, ND; Julie (John) Ferguson, Riverside, CA; Susan (Mike) Narloch, Drayton, ND. Several nieces and nephews also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be Tuesday, July 28, 2020 from 1:00-2:00 PM at the Tollefson Funeral Home, Grafton, ND. A prayer service will be held at 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Inurnment will be at Zion Lutheran Cemetery, rural Hoople, ND. Social distancing and cloth face masks are encouraged.
