Charlotte B. Levang

Charlotte B. Levang, age 91 of Adams, ND passed away on Saturday, July 24, 2010 at the Good Samaritan Center of Park River. Charlotte Levang was born November 17, 1918 in Adams, ND the daughter of the Carl and Tilda (Rudd) Erickson. She received her education in Adams and graduated from Adams High School. Charlotte was united in marriage to Vivian Levang on May 29, 1937 in Adams. She was a member of the Mountain Lutheran Church in Adams where she taught Sunday School for a number of years. She moved into the Good Samaritan Center in May of 2001. She is survived by her two sons: Curtis (Mary Faye) Levang, Howard Lake, MN; Wayne (Marie) Levang, Bismarck, ND; three daughters: Linda (Duane) Severson, Grafton, ND; Terrill (David) Blomquist, Pembina, ND; Ann (Gerald) Gobel, Westfield, IN; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-two great grandchildren; nine step great grandchildren and five step great great grandchildren; one brother: Glenn Erickson of the Good Samaritan Center of Park River, ND; two sisters: Violet Calvert, Springfield, VA and Delayne King, Colbert, WA. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Charlotte was preceded by her husband Vivian on May 7, 2005, her parents; brothers: Leonard, Ed, Olai, Mamford and her sister Anna. Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at 2:00 PM at the Mountain Lutheran Church of Adams, ND with Rev. Warren Wenzel officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday for one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at the West Adams Cemetery, rural Adams, ND.
