Catherine M Langowski

Catherine M. Langowski, age 98 of Minto, ND passed away on Saturday, January 31, 2015 at the Lutheran Sunset Home of Grafton. Catherine M. Wysocki was born on March 5, 1916 in Minto, ND, the daughter of the late Leo and Susie (Chapp) Wysocki. She grew up and attended school in Minto, graduating from Minto High School. She then attended beauty school in Fargo. Following her education, she returned to Minto where she owned and operated her own beauty shop for a number of years. She was united in marriage to Julian Langowski on September 21, 1937 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Minto. She later worked at the State School in Grafton from 1969-1986, retiring at age 70. She continued to make her home in Minto following her retirement. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and Altar Society of Minto, and the Degree of Honor. She enjoyed baking, gardening , flowers, and spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her children: Carol King, Ronald (Kathryn) Langowski, Richard Langowski, all of Minto, Connie Jones, Alvarado, MN, daughter-in-law Colleen Langowski, McVille, ND, 9 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was preceded in death by her parents, step-father Peter Moulsoff, son Robert, sister Sylvia Mondry, and brother Raymond Wysocki. Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, February 7, 2015 at 10:30 A.M. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Minto. Visitation will be Friday from 5-7, with a prayer service at 7:00 P.M. at the Tollefson Funeral Home of Grafton. Friends may also call at the church for one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery of Minto in the spring.
