Caroline J Olson

Caroline J. Olson, age 49 of Edinburg, ND, passed away on Thursday, December 21, 2017 at the Altru Hospital of Grand Forks.

Caroline Shephard was born July 17, 1968 in Grafton, ND, the daughter of George Albert and the late Eileen (Bjornson) Shephard. She grew up north of Edinburg and graduated from Edinburg High School in 1986. She was united in marriage to Timothy Olson on August 22, 1986 at the Vikur Lutheran Church of Mountain. Following her marriage, she attended college at the North Dakota State College of Science in Wahpeton. Upon completing her education, she returned to Edinburg where she resided until her death.

She was a member of the Grace Free Lutheran Church of Edinburg. She enjoyed sewing and knitting, gardening, flowers, and playing the piano.

Caroline is survived by her husband Timothy, Edinburg, ND, sons: Adam Olson, Cavalier, ND, Gary (Inga) Olson, Edinburg, ND, Luke (Ashley) Olson, Michigan, ND, and Eli Olson, Edinburg, ND, grandchildren: Kinsley, Brantley, Emma, Logan, and Rowan, father Albert Shephard, Edinburg, ND, siblings: Kathleen (Bill) Plett, Phoenix, AZ, Camburn (Jane) Shephard, Crystal, ND, Susan (Bob) Peterson, Mayville, ND, Edward (MaryAnn) Shephard, Phoenix, AZ, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother Eileen and brother-in-law William Olson.
