Carolina Mendoza

Carolina Rios Mendoza, age 51 of Grafton, ND passed away on Saturday, June 6, 2015 in Grafton as the result of an accident. Carolina M. Rios was born October 14, 1963 in Carrizo Springs, TX, the daughter of the late Arturo and Rosalia (Moreno) Rios. She grew up and attended schools in Carrizo Springs. She was united in marriage to Feliz N. Mendoza on December 18, 1993 in Carrizo Springs. She worked as a farm laborer and CNA for a time and was a stay at home mom. She was currently employed as a DSP for Friendship in Grafton. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church of Grafton. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and playing bingo. She is survived by her husband, Feliz N. Mendoza, Grafton, ND, children: Nathen Canales, TX, Valorie (Ronnie) Guajardo, Grafton, ND, Felix (Nikki Meyer) Mendoza III, Grand Forks, ND, Julio (Ruby Saenz) Mendoza, Grafton, ND, Matthew Mendoza, Grafton, ND, Rita (James) Martinez, Big Wells, TX, 32 grandchildren, 8 siblings, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents: Arturo Rios Sr. and Rosalia Rios, 4 siblings, and 1 niece. Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, June 15, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church of Grafton. Visitation will be Sunday from 5-7, with a prayer service at 7:00 P.M. at the church. Friends may also call at the church for one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at the St. John's Catholic Cemetery of Grafton.
