Carol J Zelewski

Carol J. Zelewski, age 69 of Grafton, ND, passed away on Monday, January 21, 2019 at the Lutheran Sunset Home of Grafton.

Carol J. Olson was born December 16, 1949 in Grafton, ND, the daughter of the late Vernon and Pearl (Bergquam) Olson. She grew up and attended school in Grafton, graduating from Grafton High School. She was united in marriage to Dennis Zelewski in 1970 in Drayton, ND. Following their marriage, the couple made their home in Grafton where Carol worked as a housekeeper at the Lutheran Sunset Home and later worked for Marvin Windows until retiring. Dennis passed away in 2005 and she moved into the Lutheran Sunset Home in 2013.

Carol was a member of the Grafton Lutheran Church. She enjoyed going to auction sales, doing puzzles and spending time with her grandsons.

She is survived by her daughters: Laura Zelewski, Grafton, ND and Tami Thompson, Fargo, ND, grandsons Tucker and Cooper Satterlund, siblings: Richard (Jackie) Olson, Washburn, ND, Patricia (Kenny) Hanson, Fargo, ND, Sandra (Emery) Lietz, Grafton, ND, Gordon Olson, Bismarck, ND, brother-in-law Jerome Frisco, Minneapolis, MN, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother Kenny Olson and sister Julie Ann Frisco.

A graveside service will be held at Grafton Lutheran Cemetery in the spring.
