Brian L Pilon

Brian L. Pilon, age 59 of Grafton, ND passed away on Thursday, August 10, 2017 at the Lutheran Sunset Home of Grafton.

Brian Pilon was born July 18, 1958 in Grafton, ND, the son of Flora (Sevigny) Pilon and the late Oliver Pilon. He grew up near Drayton and attended school in Oakwood and later graduated from Drayton High School. Following his education, he began farming with his dad and brother. He was united in marriage to Deanne Jadeke on October 28, 1989 at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Warren, MN. The couple made their home on the farm near Drayton until moving to Grafton in 1994. Brian continued farming until his health declined in May of 2017.

He was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church of Grafton. He enjoyed fishing and was a diehard Dale Earnhardt and Green Bay Packers fan.

Brian is survived by his wife Deanne, Grafton, ND, children: Tyler and Kayla Pilon, Drayton, ND, mother Flora Pilon, Grafton, ND, siblings: Noel (Jill) Pilon, Grafton and Gayle (Bernie) Brewer, Fargo, ND, mother-in-law Marguerite Jadeke, brother-in-law David (Brenda) Jadeke, both of Warren, MN, sisters-in-law: Debra Forbes, VA and Denise (Jody) Gudvangen, Fertile, MN, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Oliver, father-in-law Edward Jadeke, nephew Kevin Brewer, brother-in-law Michael Forbes and sister-in-law Donna Jadeke.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, August 17, 2017 at 10:30 A.M. at the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church of Grafton. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the church. Inurnment will be at the St. John’s Catholic Cemetery of Grafton.
