Brent Folson

Brent Folson, age 65 of Jamestown, ND passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2020 at Sanford Health in Fargo, ND.

Richard Brent Folson was born July 25, 1954 in Grand Forks, ND the son of the late Richard R. and Mary E. (McLachlan) Folson. He grew up in Grand Forks, graduating from Red River High School in 1972. He attended the North Dakota State School of Science in Wahpeton, ND. He returned home and farmed with his father in East Grand Forks, MN. He later moved to Jamestown, ND and was working with Progress Enterprises.

Brent loved sports while in High School, especially hockey, tennis, golf and cross country. Recently he enjoyed bowling and playing pool. Brent became a very caring and thoughtful individual. He had a great memory for numbers and remembered birthdays, special events and Bible verses. He loved to call or write letters to family and friends daily.

Brent is survived by his siblings: Cindy Olson, Hoople, ND; Sandy (Marty) Cone, Golden, CO; Bryan (Joyce) Folson, Grand Forks, ND; Barry (Ann) Folson, Grand Forks, ND; Sharon (Trent) Moore, Gillette, WY; his aunt, Muriel Folson, Grafton, ND and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents.
