Boonmee Daley, age 69 of Grafton, ND, passed away on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at the Unity Medical Center of Grafton.
Boonmee Saitrong was born April 16, 1947 in Ubon, Thailand, the daughter of the late Lee and Oon Saitrong. She grew up and attended school there. Following her education, she worked various jobs until moving to Park River, ND in 1976. Once in Park River, she began working as a CNA the Park River Good Samaritan Center until retiring in 2015. She was united in marriage to Paul Daley in 1992 at Zion Lutheran Church of rural Hoople and the couple made their home near Grafton.
She was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church of Hoople and a life member of the Park River American Legion Auxiliary. She loved flowers and gardening, going to the casinos for shows, and traveling.
Boonmee is survived by her husband Paul of Grafton, sons: Sam Svir, Alameda, CA and Pat Svir, Big Sky, MT, as well as 2 children, 2 grandchildren, 3 sisters and 1 brother in Thailand. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother-in-law and a nephew.
Memorial services will be Thursday, April 13, 2017 at 10:30 A.M. at the Zion Lutheran Church of Hoople. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5-7 P.M. at the Tollefson Funeral Home of Grafton. Friends may also call at the church for one hour prior to the service at the church. Inurnment will be at the Zion Lutheran Cemetery of Hoople.
