Bonnie L Elofson

Bonnie L. Elofson, age 65 of Grand Forks, ND, passed away on Saturday, May 3, 2014 at the Altru Hospital of Grand Forks. Bonnie L. Drevecky was born June 6, 1948 in Grafton, ND, the daughter of Orine (Rustan) Drevecky and the late Vernon Drevecky. She grew up and attended school in Adams, graduating from Adams High School. She later received her Associate's Degree in business from Aaker's Business College. Following her education, she began working for Norby's Department Store. She was united in marriage to Rick Elofson on September 17, 1972 at Adams Mountain Lutheran Church and the couple made their home in Grand Forks. She retired in 1976 to become a stay at home mom. She was a former member of Adams Mountain Lutheran Church. She enjoyed working with and volunteering her time with the elderly. She was an animal lover and always had a special place for her dogs. She is survived by her husband Rick, Grand Forks, ND, children: Robin (Brad) Miller, St. Paul, MN, Michael Elofson, Grand Forks, ND, granddaughter Abigail Miller, mother Orine Drevecky, Park River, ND, and her best friend Molly. Several cousins, nieces, nephews and aunts also survive. She was preceded in death by her father Vernon. Funeral services will be Thursday, May 8, 2014 at 3:00 P.M. at the Tollefson Funeral Home of Grafton. Visitation will be for two hours prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be at the West Adams Cemetery of rural Adams.
