Betty Ann Thompson

Betty Thompson, age 74 of Fargo, ND and formerly of Grafton passed away on Friday, February 13, 2015 at Bethany Homes of Fargo, ND. Betty Ann Gillespie/Lunde, daughter of Ann LUnde, Melvin Gillespie and stepfather, Edwin Lunde was born June 28, 1940 in Grafton, ND. She graduated from Grafton High School in 1958 and St. Luke's School of Nursing in 1961. She married Charles Thompson on October 7, 1961. Betty was involved with the Grafton Women's Jaycee's and Grafton Heather Curling. She enjoyed spending time outside with her flowers. Betty is survived by her daughters: Sheryl (Joel) Aslakson and Denise (Chad) Larson, her grandchildren: Nicholas and Austen Larson. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Herbert Gillespie. Funeral services will be Monday, February 16, 2015 at 2:00 PM at the Grafton Lutheran Church. Visitation will be Monday for one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be at Grafton Lutheran Cemetery, Grafton, ND.
