Betty Jean Samson

Betty Jean Samson, age 70 of Grafton, ND passed away on Monday, July 23, 2012 at the Unity Medical Center of Grafton. Betty Jean Samson was born August 11, 1941 in Grafton, ND the daughter of the late Louis and Meranda (Nelson) Samson. She made her home in Grafton with her family until May 10, 1951 when she moved to the Grafton Developmental Center. She made her home there and in Group Homes in Grafton until her death. Betty is survived by her sisters: Lois Penas, Grafton, ND and Dorothy Stevens, Vancouver, WA; nieces: Cindy (Jim) Meagher, Canada, Jodi Stevens, Olympia, WA and nephew Troy Stevens, Vancouver, WA. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Lou. Memorial services will be Saturday, July 28, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at the All Faith's Chapel at the Grafton Developmental Center. Visitation will be Saturday for one hour prior to the service at the All Faith's Chapel. Inurnment will be at the Grafton Lutheran Cemetery.
