Betty B. Long

Betty B. Long, age 87 of Grafton, ND passed away on Thursday, December 08, 2011 at Altru Hospital of Grand Forks. Betty B. Johnson was born August 16, 1924 in Grafton, ND the daughter of the late Harry and Grace (Carruthers) Johnson. She graduated from Grafton High School and moved to Pasco Washington where she worked as a PBX operator at a defense plant. She returned to Grafton and worked as a receptionist at the Grafton Developmental Center for over 40 years. She was a member of the Grafton Lutheran Church and WELCA, Order of Eastern Star and the Benefit Bridge Club. Betty is survived by her daughter Cindy Long of Houston, TX, a niece and three nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers: George and Robert Johnson.
