Betty J Juenke

Betty Juenke, age 93 of Crystal, ND, passed away on Friday, March 3, 2017 at the Lutheran Sunset Home of Grafton.

Betty J. Vatnsdal was born December 2, 1923 in Crystal, ND, the daughter of the late Joseph and Isabel (Hunter) Vatnsdal. She grew up and attended school in Grafton, graduating from Grafton High school. She was united in marriage to Arnold Juenke on October 26, 1963 in Grafton. The couple made their home in Crystal. Arnold passed away on May 19, 2013 and she moved into the Lutheran Sunset Home in January of 2014.

She was a member of the Crystal United Methodist Church of Crystal and served on the Ladies Aid. She was also a member of the UMW, and life member of the Eastern Star.

Betty is survived by several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Arnold, and sisters: Frances “Frankie” Osborne and Joyce Nyman.

Funeral services will be Monday, March 6, 2017 at 2:30 P.M. at the Crystal United Methodist Church of Crystal. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be at the Crystal Memorial Cemetery in the spring.
