Betty F. Holth

Betty F. Holth, age 83 of Inver Grove Heights, MN and formerly of Fairdale, ND passed away on Wednesday in Inver Grove Heights. Betty F. Johnson was born December 6, 1931 near Loma, ND the daughter of the late Fred and Emma (Melland) Johnson. She attended rural schools near Loma. Betty was united in marriage to Richard Holth on June 24, 1951 in Edmore, ND. The couple lived and farmed near Fairdale. He passed away on July 30, 1985. Betty worked at the Good Samaritan Center in Osnabrock and later worked for Hospice. In 2010 she moved into assisted living and was last living in Inver Grove Heights, MN. She was a member of Our Redeemer's Lutheran Church and WELCA and the Fairdale Booster Club. She enjoyed Square Dancing and doing ceramics. Betty is survived by her children: Debra (Wayne) Flack, Wahpeton, ND; Wayne (Gayle) Holth, Fairdale, ND; Janelle (Wayne) Waslaski, Inver Grove Heights, MN; Pam (Mike) Kratochvil, Lankin, ND; nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and sisters: Gladys Haraseth and Dorothy Haraseth. Funeral services will be Monday, December 15, 2014 at 10:0 0A.M. at Our Redeemer's Lutheran Church of Fairdale. Visitation will be Sunday from 5-7 PM with a prayer service at 7:00 PM at the Tollefson Funeral Home of Park River. Friends may also call at the church on Monday for one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at the Silvesta Lutheran Cemetery, rural Fairdale.
