Betty Ebertowski

April 10, 1942 — May 27, 2008

Betty L. Ebertowski, age 66 of West Fargo, ND and formerly of Minto, ND passed away on Tuesday, May 27, 2008 at the MeritCare Hospital of Fargo. Betty L. Ebertowski was born April 10, 1942 in Chicago, IL the daughter of the late Martin and Rose (Stoltman) Ebertowski of Ardoch, ND. Betty was raised in Ardoch and went to grade school there. She graduated from Minto High School. After graduation she worked at People's Bakery in Grafton for a time. She then moved to Harvey, IL and worked as a police matron. After moving back to North Dakota she was united in marriage to James Walski and they made their home in Minto and had four children. She later moved to West Fargo and has lived there for several years.

Betty's hobbies included playing scrabble, playing the piano and spending time with her family, grandchildren and friends.

She is survived by her children: Mitchell (Lee) Walski, Minto, ND; Janelle Walsh, White Bear Lake, MN; Melanee (Ben) Sorenson, Edina, MN and Kris (Suzie) Walski, Logan, IA; 15 grandchildren, a brother Duane Ebertowski and special friend, Jeannie Arden, Tulsa, OK; sisters: Rose Ellen (Dan) Dettlolff, New Port Richey, FL; Diane (Marlen) McLaughlin, Lankin, ND; several nieces and nephews and special friend, Tasha Hager, West Fargo, ND. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister and brother-in-law: Marilyn and Wade Miller.

Memorial services will be Sunday, June 1, 2008 at 2:00 PM at the Tollefson Funeral Home of Grafton. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be at the Minto City Cemetery, Minto, ND.

The Tollefson Funeral Home of Grafton is in charge of the arrangements.
