Bernadette Marie Greenagel

Bernadette Marie Greenagel, 96, passed away October 28, 2025 in Scottsdale, Arizona surrounded by family. Bernadette (Bernie) was born December 5, 1928 to Bernard J. and Theodora (Peterka) Dvorak in Veseleyville, North Dakota. She graduated from Grafton High School in 1946.

During her 92 years in Grafton, she enjoyed working at the S&L Department Store, the Walsh County Bank and, for many years, H.E. Everson Co. She was actively involved in St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church and the American Legion Auxiliary.

Bernie moved to Scottsdale, Arizona in 2021 where she enjoyed many visits from her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A funeral mass and celebration of life will be held in the early summer of 2026 at St. John’s Church with inurnment at St. John’s Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to St. John’s Church or Lutheran Sunset Home both of Grafton.
