Beatrice Wiste

Beatrice Wiste, age 85 of rural Lankin, ND passed away Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at the Good Samaritan Center of Park River. Beatrice Wiste was born February 26, 1929 in Norton Township, Walsh County, the daughter of the late Andrew and Annette (Christenson) Wiste. She was born and raised on the family farm and attended school at the Norton Township District 70 school and finished her education at the Askim School. When she was twelve her mother passed away and she helped raise her brothers and sisters. She continued to make her home on the family farm taking care of her siblings until she moved into the Edmore Rest Home and most recently the Good Samaritan Center of Park River. Beatrice was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings: Travis "Bud" Wiste, Robert "Bob" Wiste, and Bonnie Wiste. She was a member of the Hoff Lutheran Church. Funeral services will be Saturday, September 6, 2014 at 10:30 A.M. at the Hoff Lutheran Church of rural Lankin. Friends may call at the church for one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at the Hoff Lutheran Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to Hoff Lutheran Cemetery.
