Beatrice T. Grove

Beatrice T. Grove, age 101 of Adams, ND, passed away on Monday, September 20, 2021 at the First Care Health Center of Park River.

Beatrice was born August 31, 1920 in Silvesta Township, the daughter of the late Bennie and Tilda (Bakken) Aune.  She attended a one room country school and 1 year of high school.  She was a life member of the American Legion Auxiliary and WELCA.  She loved and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  They were her pride and joy.

She married Palmer T. Grove on May 6, 1945 at Adams, ND.  They farmed from 1945 to 1976.  Following their retirement they moved into Adams.  They wintered in Arizona starting in 1965 and Beatrice continued until 2017.

She is survived by her son Richard and daughter Patricia, 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers Mortimer and Donald Aune, sister Mae Sondreson, son-in-law Neil Hove and daughter-in-law Linda Troftgruben Grove.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at 2:00 PM at the Adams Mountain Lutheran Church.  Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the church.  Inurnment will be at the West Adams Cemetery.
