Beatrice H. Dipple

Beatrice H. Dipple, age 88 of Grafton, ND passed away on Wednesday, March 02, 2016 at the Altru Hospital of Grand Forks, ND.

Beatrice H. Plutowski was born April 12, 1927 in Walshville Township of Walsh County, ND the daughter of the late Leo and Helen (Rogalla) Plutowski. She attended school there and at the St. Anthony’s Convent School in Warsaw. Beatrice was united in marriage to Halward Dipple on November 3, 1948 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church of Warsaw. The couple lived and farmed east of Grafton until retiring in 1986. They spent several winters in McAllen Texas. Halward passed away on October 24, 2011. Beatrice was currently residing at the Lutheran Sunset Home in Grafton.

She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church and Altar Society of Oakwood.

Beatrice is survived by her children: Dennis (Jennifer) Dipple, Grand Forks, ND; Kay (Don) Shilling, Fargo, ND and Carol (Derek) Harris, Waxhaw, NC; five grandchildren: Jonathan Shilling, Jessica LaFreniere Moore, Evan Harris, Kara Harris and Conrad Dipple, three great grandchildren: David Shilling, Marcus Shilling and Jonah Harris and her first great granddaughter is expected in May, her twin sister, Louise (Emil) Votava and brother, Earl (Lydia) Plutowski, both of Grand Forks, ND. Beatrice was preceded in death by her parents, husband and brothers: Eugene, James, Edwin and Robert.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, March 10, 2016 at 10:30 A.M. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Oakwood, ND. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5-7 with a prayer service at 7:00 PM at the Tollefson Funeral Home of Grafton. Friends may also call at the church on Thursday for one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at St. Stanislaus Catholic Cemetery, Warsaw, ND.
