Auristel Delangel

Auristel DelAngel, age 54, of Minto, North Dakota, passed away Thursday, July 3, 2025 at the Altru Hospital of Grand Forks, North Dakota.

Auristel DelAngel was born June 9, 1971 in Veracruz, Mexico, the son of Pedro DelAngel and the late Candelaria (Rodriguez) DelAngel.  He was united in marriage to Silvia V. Treviño on January 26, 1995 in Harlingen, Texas.  The couple made their home in Minto, where they were raising their two sons, Auristel, Jr. and Alonso.   He worked for many farmers in the Minto area from 1995 until the time of his death.  He was loved and adored by all of his family and was often called “the Invention”, because of his ability to fix many things.  He was always willing to help anyone who needed it.

Auristel is survived by his wife, Silvia V. DelAngel, Minto, ND; his sons:  Auristel DelAngel, Jr. and Alonso V. DelAngel, Minto, ND; his father, Pedro DelAngel, Mexico; his sister, Gladys DelAngel, Mexico and his father-in-law, Guadalupe Treviño, Minto, ND.  He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.  He was we preceded in death by his mother Candelaria DelAngel and his mother-in-law Socorro Treviño.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, July 12, 2025 at 10:30 A.M. at the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Grafton, North Dakota.  Visitation will be Friday from 5-7 P.M. at the Tollefson Funeral Home of Grafton.  Friends may call at the church on Saturday for one hour prior to the service at the church.
