Arlin L. Moen

Arlin L. Moen age 78 of Grand Forks, formerly of rural Edinburg passed away on Saturday, June 27, 2009 at the Altru Hospital of Grand Forks. Arlin L. Moen was born November 8, 1930 in rural Edinburg to the late Charlie and Anna (Nygard) Moen. Arlin attended schools in Edinburg and worked at the Roller Skating Rink. He married Viola St. Vincent on October 31, 1950 in Grafton, ND. Arlin worked various jobs throughout his life which took his family to many different places. Viola passed away on June 25, 1993. He is survived by his children: Marlin (Shelly) Moen, Green River, WY; Marilynn (Charlie "Chuck") Giersezewski, Grand Forks, ND, Charlie (Holly) Moen, Adams, ND; and Roxane Moen, Hoople, ND; 17 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and brother Gilford (Paulene) Moen, Phoenix, AZ. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, daughters Vernette, two infant daughters, two grandchildren, three great grandchildren and brother Charles Moen. Memorial Services will be Wednesday, July 1, 2009 at 10:30 A.M. at the Our Saviour's Lutheran Church of Grafton. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be at the Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Union, ND.
