Anthony B. Walser

Anthony B. “Tony” Walser, age 79 of Park River, ND passed away on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at Altru Hospital of Grand Forks, ND.

Tony was born February 26, 1937 in Grafton, ND the son of the late Joseph and Anna (Ochs) Walser. He farmed with his parents and uncle eventually taking over the family farm. He attended school in Park River and also graduated from UND with a BS and Business and Public Administration Degree. He attended Aakers Business School and graduated with a degree in accounting. He trained to become a pilot in Tulsa, OK and later flew for Bahama Airlines. He also was a crop sprayer and co-owned St. Thomas Flying Service.

He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the North Dakota National Guard.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda and several cousins.

Memorial services will be Saturday, May 21, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Park River, ND. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery, Park River, ND.
