Annie F. Nybo, age 93 of Thief River Falls, MN and formerly of Grafton passed away on Wednesday, August 28, 2013 at the Oakland Park Nursing Home of Thief River Falls. Annie F. Rachac was born February 19, 1920 in Conway, ND, the daughter of the late Joseph and Nettie (Parkus) Rachac. She was raised in the Conway/Park River area and attended school in Conway. After her schooling she worked for various people in the area doing housekeeping. On July 23, 1946 she was united in marriage to Art Nybo. The couple made their home in rural Hoople where they farmed. In 1961, the couple moved to Grafton and both Annie and Art worked at the Grafton Developmental Center until their retirement. Art passed away April 10, 1998. Annie continued to make her home in Grafton until she moved to Thief River Falls in 2005. She was a former member of the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Annie is survived by her daughter Karen Welsh, Thief River Falls, MN; two grandchildren: Wade Welsh, Fargo, ND; Neil Welsh, Thief River Falls, MN; five great grandchildren: Kelsey Welsh, Minneapolis, MN; Joshua Welsh, Grafton, ND; Craig Welsh, Thief River Falls, MN; Andrea Welsh, Grafton, ND and Casey Welsh, Grafton, ND; brother, Earl (Arlene) Rachac, Fargo, ND. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister, Alice Dalton and brothers: Clifford, Eugene and Louis Rachac. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at 3:00 P.M. at the Tollefson Funeral Home of Grafton. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday for one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at the Zion Lutheran Cemetery of rural Hoople.
