Anna P. Setness

Anna P. Setness age 93 of Enumclaw, WA and formerly of Grafton passed away on February 26, 2013 at Kent, WA. Anna P. Bellerud was born April 19, 1919 in Skrein, Toten, Norway the daughter of the late Mads and Marie (Kristiansen) Bellerud. She moved to Adams, ND with her parents when she was four years old. She attended elementary school east of Adams in Vesta #63 and graduated from Adams High School in 1939. On March 28, 1943 she married Bernhard Setness in Adams, ND. The couple made their home in Edinburg, ND. In 1957 they moved to Grafton, ND. She worked at Zinke's Café and Bert's Café. In 1968 she went to work at the Developmental Center in the bakery department, retiring in 1986. Ben and Ann celebrated their 65 wedding anniversary in 2008. Ben and Ann moved to Enumclaw, WA in 2008 to live with their daughter and son-in-law. Ben passed away September 16, 2008. Ben and Ann loved to travel, making three trips to Norway. She loved to crotchet, embroider, read, cook and bake. She was a member of Grafton Lutheran Church, WELCA and Bible Study Groups. She was also a member of the Vesterdahlen Sons of Norway in Auburn, WA. She is survived by her daughter Linda (Larry) Anderson, Enumclaw, WA; five grandchildren: Laurie, Jeffersonville, IN; Anna Marie, Kent, WA; Bill (Diana) Enumclaw, WA; Sarah (Mike) Watson, University Place, WA; David (Yvonne) Anderson, Auburn, WA; 10 great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren, her sister, Helen Olson, Cypress, CA; three brothers: Melvin Bellerud, Auburn, WA; Bernt (Marilyn) Bellerud, Apache Junction, AZ; Alfred (Edna) Bellerud, Park River, ND. Several nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister-in-law, Eunice Bellerud and brother-in-law, Freeman Olson. Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at 10:30 A.M. at Grafton Lutheran Church. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5-7 PM with a prayer service at 7:00 PM at the Tollefson Funeral Home of Grafton. Friends may also call at the church on Wednesday for one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Grafton Lutheran Cemetery.
