Angela V Suda

Angela Suda, age 101 of Grafton, ND passed away on Thursday, May 20, 2010 at the Lutheran Sunset Home of Grafton. Angela V. Dusek was born March 26, 1909 in Veseleyville, ND the daughter of the late Frank and Anna (Suda) Dusek. She graduated from 8th grade in Veseleyville.She was united in marriage to William Suda on October 21, 1935 in Veseleyville. The couple lived and farmed near Veseleyville until June of 1970 when they retired and moved to Grafton. William passed away in 1991 and Angela moved to the Lutheran Sunset Home in Grafton on Dec. 20, 1999. She was a member of the St. Luke's Catholic Church and Altar Society and the Holy Rosary Society in Veseleyville. She was a member of St. John's Catholic Church and Parish Society, the St. Joseph's Hospital Auxiliary, Catholic Daughters, the American Legion Auxiliary, St. John's Quilters and volunteered at St. John's Catholic Church. Angela is survived by her children: Cyrilla (Ron) Demers, Grafton, ND; Lillian (Jim) Houska, Grafton, ND; Theresa Suda, Grand Forks, ND; Diane (Don) Sevigny, Hoven, SD; Marcy (Ray) Gourde, Grafton, ND; William (Judy) Suda, Grafton, ND; Anna Mae Suda, Tucson, AZ; daughter-in-law Shirley Suda, Grafton, ND; 32 grandchildren and 76 great grandchildren. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sons Paul and Ronald and infant son; two great granddaughters: Kelly Andrews Klagman and Kristina Sevigny, four brothers: Frank, Jerome, Lewis and twin brother Gabriel, and three sisters: Anna Kubesh, Agnes Burianek and Elizabeth Schanilec. Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, May 24, 2010 at 2:30 PM at the St. John's Catholic Church of Grafton. Visitation will be Sunday from 3-5 PM with a prayer service at 5:00 PM and Monday for one hour prior to the service all at St. John's Catholic Church. Interment will be at the St. Luke's Catholic Cemetery in Veseleyville. Memorials are preferred to the Lutheran Sunset Home or the Walsh County Relay for Life.
