Amanda Marie Daley

Amanda M. Daley, age 43 of Park River, ND passed away on Friday, August 2, 2024 at her sister’s home in Frazee, MN.

Amanda Marie Johnson was born January 26, 1981 in Park River, ND the daughter of Wayne and Connie (Hagen) Johnson. She graduated from Park River High School in 1999. She attended Mayville State College and Wahpeton State School of Science. She returned to Park River and went to work for Sunshine Day Care. Amanda was united in marriage to Matt Daley on July 23, 2005 in Park River. The couple made their home there. In 2007 she went to work at the Park River Good Samaritan Center and worked there until her death.

Amanda was Baptized, Confirmed and Married at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church. She was involved in all of her son’s sporting events and served on the Baseball Board for a time.

She is survived by her husband, Matt of Park River, ND; her son Brayden, Park River, ND; her parents, Wayne and Connie Johnson, Park River, ND; her sister, Kelsey (Steve) Gerszewski, Frazee, MN; her maternal grandmother, Zola Hagen, Reeder, ND; her in-laws: Tim and Cheryl Daley, Loretta (Tony) Myrvik and Amy Kubat all of Park River, ND; nieces and nephews: Nolan, Briggs and Porter Gerszewski, Dylan, Sadie and Braelyn Myrvik, Briley and Blake Kubat, Emmlee Pic and Maizee Kubat.  She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Oliver and Shirley Johnson and maternal grandfather, Earl G. Hagen.

Funeral services will be Saturday, August 10, 2024 at 2:30 PM at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church of Park River, ND. Visitation will be Friday from 5-7 PM at the Tollefson Funeral Home of Park River. Friends may also call at the church on Saturday for one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery, Park River, ND.  In lieu of flowers the family would prefer memorials to the Park River Volunteer Fire Department or Park River Volunteer Ambulance.
