Alice L Staskivige

Alice L. Staskivige age 78 of Fordville, ND passed away on Thursday, June 22, 2017 at her home in Fordville.

Alice L. White was born August 13, 1938 in Walhalla, ND the daughter of the late Joseph and Hazel (Weaver) White. She attended school there. Alice was united in marriage to Garfield Staskivige in 1956 in Warren, MN. The couple made their home in Drayton, ND for time before moving to St. Thomas, ND. She worked at the café for a time and for over 20 years she worked for the Orville Gilleshammer Farms. Garfield passed away in 1995. She moved to Fordville in 2007 where she has made her home since.

She was a member of the St. Thomas American Legion Auxiliary.

Alice is survived by her children: Stephan (Terrie) Staskivige, Drayton, ND; Mary Ann Jacobs (Randy Anthony), Kewanee, IL; seven grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, her siblings: John White, St. Thomas, ND; Harold (Donna) White, Sioux Falls, SD; Myrtle Gwarnity, Sacramento, CA; Bonita Latraille, Waupaca, WI; half-sisters: Carol White and Pam White, both of Omaha, NE; Janice Salinas, Oglesby, TX and special friend, Kenny Longie. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers: Joseph, Ronald, Lloyd and Ralph and a grandson.

Memorial services will be Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at the Tollefson Funeral Home of Grafton. Visitation will be Tuesday for one hour prior to the service. Inurnment will be at St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery, Walhalla, ND.
