Adeline Windingland

Adeline G. Windingland, age 90 of Fargo, ND and formerly of Edinburg, ND passed away on Monday, January 12, 2009 at the Palliative Care Unit of MeritCare Hospital in Fargo, ND. Adeline G. Lindell was born February 28, 1918 near Park River, ND the daughter of P. Arthur and Annetta (Stenerson) Lindell. She attended elementary school at the Garfield School near Edinburg and graduated from the Walsh County Agricultural School in Park River, then graduated from Josef's School of Hair Design in Fargo. Adeline was united in marriage to Lawrence Windingland on November 6, 1938 at the St. Peter's Lutheran Church near Park River. The couple lived and farmed near Edinburg. In 1957 they moved into Edinburg. Lawrence and his son Arden died on July 3, 1971. In 1973 Adeline moved to Fargo, ND where she worked as a seamstress for the Bridal Shop and out of her home.

Adeline is survived by her children: Loretta (Noel) Moe, Grafton, ND; Donald Windingland, Fargo, ND; four grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and siblings: George Lindell; Ray, ND; Ardys Mandt, West Fargo, ND; Alfred (Mary Ann) Lindell, Fairdale, ND; Dorothy Kluge, Jefferson City, MO; her aunt; Eva Nottestad, Park River, ND; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, son Arden and brother Wally.
