Adeline Mary Stoltman

Adeline M. Stoltman, age 65 of Grand Forks, ND and formerly of Minto, ND passed away on Friday, August 07, 2009 at the Valley Eldercare Center of Grand Forks. Adeline Mary Paschke was born October 9, 1943 in Grand Forks, ND the daughter of Stanley and Alice (Mozinski) Paschke. She grew up on a farm near Ardoch, ND and attended school in Warsaw, ND. Adeline was united in marriage to Gerald Stoltman on June 6, 1970 at the St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Warsaw, ND. The couple made their home in Minto where they raised their six children. Adeline was a homemaker all her life. Her greatest joy was spending time with her mother, children and grandchildren. She loved to cook, garden and volunteer with the Sacred Heart Catholic Church and Altar Society of Minto where she had been a member of many years. Adeline appreciated people for who they were and loved good conversation, especially in Polish. Adeline will be remembered as a very loving, gentle, kind hearted humble person and guardian angel. She is survived by her mother Alice Paschke, Ardoch, ND; five children: Daniel Stoltman, Grand Forks, ND; Duane Stoltman, Thief River Falls, MN; Darlene Stremick, Grand Forks, ND; Doris (Robert) Degenstein, Mankato, MN; Dale (Elizabeth) Stoltman, Mankato, MN; brother: Chester (Sharon) Paschke, Grand Forks, ND; three grandchildren: Wayde, Grand Forks, ND; Andrew and Aiden of Mankato, MN. Several nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by her father Stanley, husband Gerald and son Darrell. Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, August 10, 2009 at 10:00 A.M. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Minto, ND. Visitation will be Sunday from 5-7 PM with a prayer service at 7:00 PM at the Tollefson Funeral Home of Grafton. Friends may also call at the church on Monday for one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery, Minto, ND.
