Adeline E. Denault

Adeline E. Denault, age 87 of Park River, ND passed away Friday, May 2, 2014 at the Good Samaritan Center of Park River. Adeline E. Kittelson was born April 22, 1927 in Dundee Township, Walsh County, the daughter of the late Charlie and Millie (Peterson) Kittelson. She attended rural country school. Adeline was united in marriage to Richard Denault on April 6, 1946 in Hoople, ND. The couple made their home in Dundee Township where they raised their six children. Richard passed away June 9, 1969. Adeline continued to make her home on the farm until 2000, when she moved into Park River. In September 2012 she moved to the Good Samaritan Center of Park River. She was a member of the Park Center Lutheran Church. Adeline loved baking, canning, gardening, raising her farm pets and reading. Adeline is survived by her children: Leland Denault, Park River, ND; Gerald (Diann) Denault, Adams, ND; Roland Denault, Grafton, ND; Lynette (Randy) Trosen, Park River, ND; Lynelle (Yon) Shutt, Minto, ND; daughter-in-law, Ruth Denault, Park River; grandchildren: Richard (Mandy) Denault, Daniel (Laura) Denault, Matthew Denault, Nicholas (Gennelyn) Trosen, Nathan Trosen, Michael and Lucas Shutt; step-grandchildren: Blanche Berg and Anne (Ed) Wallette; three great granddaughters and two great grandsons. Several nieces and nephews also survive. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Richard, son Allen, sisters: Malvina and Lila and brother, Gilman. Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at 2:30 P.M. at the Park Center Lutheran Church, rural Hoople. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be at the Memorial Park Cemetery, Park River.
